Six creative bloggers in the U.K. spent a fun afternoon dreaming and playing with each other. Thank you to Susannah Conway for sharing her beautiful photos from the event and to all six wonderful women for sharing their thoughts here:
- “I really do think that our dreams for the future are made more powerful when we not only give them a voice, but share them too. Sitting with my friends on a Sunday afternoon, talking about dreams and plans, we were creating magic with every magazine we ripped up and every glue stick we wielded! The kit gave us a focus and provided a playful element that we all loved – thank you, Jenn!” — Susannah Conway
- “I usually get quite frustrated by visualizations, but Jenn’s provided just the right situation for me to ‘see’ what I needed to see. I never get pictures when I visualize, but this time I did get words and some of them surprised me! I’ve made lots of vision boards before, but this experience – especially shared as it was with good friends and lot of laughter – really helped me get really clear about what I want to create in my life. I am already thinking differently. Thanks, Jenn!” — Meg Genge
- “Having completed vision boards before in both large (poster) and medium (book) format, it was an interesting exercise to assemble my own smaller ‘vision board’. During the meditation I had a few things come up for me, and I found words and images to support these during our session. Having such an amazing an inspirational group of women to do and share this with, I felt like I had finally given myself permission to really create a vision of what lies at the heart of my true nature.” — Leonie Wise
- “I have never done anything like this before so it was great to share the experience with such a great group of girlies. I loved the process of sharing magazines and looking for different things and am proud of the results – it reflects all the dreams in my mind.” — Emma Bradshaw
- “There is no better way to create some magic than to find some space, sit with your girlfriends, armed with gluesticks, scissors and a mountain of magazines… and just share. Stories, inspiration and laughter… the day was full of all that and more. So now, my mini vision board not only contains the hopes for my life, but i carry with it the memory of a day with kindred spirits, and it feels so much more potent.” — Penny McKinley-Rodgers
- “Having your life vision unfold in the company of good friends and fellow dreamers is a magical experience. From the guided visualisation to the finishing touches on the kit, Jenn has created something very special. We cooed over the kits together, laughed as we hunted treasures for them together, but most of all we dreamed BIG together!” — Jo Hanlon-Moores
